Skye Valley wins UDIA (Vic) award!

Peet’s Skye Valley community has won a prestigious 2011 Urban Development Institute of Australia (Vic) award in the category ‘Residential Development of 250 Lots or fewer.’

It’s taken less than two years for all 84 homesites at the boutique community in Melbourne’s South-East to sell out, and Skye Valley’s rural feel, large parklands and convenient location were all contributing factors that led to the impressive award win (an Oscar in land development terms)!

Peet Limited Managing Director and CEO Brendan Gore said he was proud of the UDIA’s recognition, and said Skye Valley is providing residents with a highly desirable lifestyle in a close-knit community.

“Skye Valley is positioned around an expansive central parkland, which reflects the rural history of the area and complements the community’s tranquil feel and natural surroundings,” explained Mr Gore.

“Peet has worked hard to ensure Skye Valley is an attractive place for residents to live and we’re delighted that our efforts have been formally recognised by the UDIA in this way.”

Whilst homesites at Skye Valley are no longer available, Peet Limited is currently developing two new communities less than 10kms away in Cranbourne – Quarters in Cranbourne West and Livingston in Cranbourne East. For more information on available homesites in these communities, please call 13PEET.

The final four homesites at Peet Limited’s exclusive Skye Valley community are now available.

With only 84 homesites in the boutique development, the last lots offer homebuyers a unique opportunity to build a new home in a high-growth area.

Peet Limited Managing Director and CEO Brendan Gore said interest in the community has remained consistently strong since its launch last year.

“We would expect strong demand for the final four homesites in what is a high-quality community close to key services and amenities,” said Mr Gore.

Located just off Ballarto Road in Skye, the community is just eight kilometres from Frankston, and provides easy access to both the Eastlink and Frankston Freeways, which delivers commuters to Melbourne’s CBD in around 40 minutes.

Several public and private primary and secondary schools are close to the community as is the Carrum Downs Plaza Shopping Centre.  It is only a fifteen minute drive to one of Melbourne best beaches and there are eight championship golf courses in the vicinity.

At the heart of the Skye Valley community is the central parkland. Completed during June 2010, the one-hectare park includes picnic facilities, a playground, bocce court, walking trails, large kick-about area and plenty of native trees.

The park provides the ideal setting for a family gathering, or a casual get-together with friends and neighbours.

Two of the remaining four homesites are located directly opposite the park on Sanoma Drive and Santa Clara Mews, and the park is also just a short stroll away from the other homesites available on Rhone Grove.
